Property Covered
Your mobile home and separate structures are covered for almost any
type of damage, except for a few exclusions such as wear and tear, earth
movement, flood and nuclear hazard.
Your Separate Structures on your residence premises, other than for
business purposes, such as a detached garage or tool-shed, are covered
up to 10% of the amount of coverage on your mobile home.
Optional higher limits are
available.
Personal Property
Personal Property is covered up to 50% of the amount of coverage on
your mobile home. (Optional higher limits are available.)
Personal property owned or used by a qualified family member is
covered anywhere in the world.
Personal property located at a secondary residence, such as a cabin
or a vacation home, is covered up to $1,000 or 10% of the personal
property coverage, whichever is greater.
Personal Property is covered for damages resulting from the
following:
- Fire or Lightning
- Windstorm or Hail
- Explosion
- Riot or Civil Commotion
- Falling Objects or Aircraft
- Vehicles
- Smoke Damage: Sudden and accidental
- Vandalism
- Theft
- Weight of Ice, Snow or Sleet
- Water or Steam - accidentally discharged from a plumbing system
or heating systems and water heaters
- Damage resulting from bulging, cracking, rupture and burning of
steam or heating systems and water heaters
- Electrical Damage to appliances and fixtures (but not tubes or
transistors)
- Freezing of plumbing, heating, air conditioning systems or
household appliances.
Loss of Use / Additional Coverages
Loss of use if you can't live in your mobile home after a covered
loss, we cover the additional cost of living in hotels, meals,
etc. Pays up to 20% of the amount of insurance on your mobile home
as an additional coverage, with no deductible.
Trees, Shrubs, Plants, and Lawns.... pays up to an additional 5% of
the amount of coverage on your mobile home and no more than $500 per
item for a loss by Fire or Lightning, Explosion, Riot or Civil
Commotion, Aircraft, Vehicles not owned or operated by a family member,
Vandalism and Theft.
Personal Liability Protection
Pays for bodily injuries to other people, or damage to their
property, if you are liable, resulting from:
- The acts of your pets.
- Unintentional acts committed by you or qualified family members,
while engaged in such activities as hunting, fishing and other
sports.
Medical Payments
Pays for Medical Payments for other people injured on your premise,
regardless of liability.
Additional Liability Coverages
- Pays expenses in a suit we defend on your behalf, such as court
costs, attorney fees, investigator fees, expenses of witnesses and
witness fees.
- Pays the premium on bonds required in a suit we defend
- Pays expenses you incur for necessary medical aid to other people at
the time of an accident covered by the policy.
- Pays up to $500 for damage to property of others caused by a
qualified family member where you are not legally liable.
Optional Coverages
Personal Articles Floater
If you own jewelry, watches or furs valued over $500, silverware,
goldware or pewterware valued at $2,500, you should consider a
Personal Articles Floater on these items. Coverage is also
available on the following:

- Stamp Collections
- Fine Art
- Sports Equipment
- Coin Collections
- Musical Instruments
- Firearms
Earthquake
Extends protection for damages caused by an earthquake up to the
policy limit.
Mobile Homeowners Replacement Cost on
Buildings
Extends protection to repair or replace your mobile home and separate
structures, without deduction for depreciation, if the amount of
insurance at the time of loss is at least 80% of the full replacement
cost of the mobile home or separate structure.
- Contents Replacement Cost
Extends protection on your personal property to include the cost
of repair or replacement without deduction for depreciation.
This optional coverage pays the replacement cost up to four times
the actual cash value of the item but not more than the policy
limit.

afford to continue living in your mobile home?
Our Mortgage Protector plan is designed to eliminate this risk by
providing cash to pay off the mortgage balance or to continue the
monthly payments.
Discounts
If your mobile home was constructed within the past 5 years, you
qualify for this discount. The actual discount depends
directly upon the actual age of your mobile home.
If the qualified family members of your household have not smoked
tobacco products in the past two years, you can save money with our
Non-Smoker Discount.
- Protective Devices Discount
You may qualify for this discount if your mobile home is equipped
with one or more of the following safety features: a fire or smoke
alarm, a burglar alarm, deadbolt locks, a fire extinguisher, or an
automatic sprinkler system.
If you are 50 years old or above, you may qualify for the 50 Plus
Discount. The discount varies according to your age.
